Coming up are exciting visual treats, musical delights, and literary sound-bites to tantalize the ear. If you're new to the neighbourhood, this is your opportunity to meet the rich and vibrant artistic community that thrives on and around St. Clair Avenue West. ARTWALK heralds the arrival of Fall, the best season for wandering and discovering the smorgasbord of cultural delights that make our community so rich and inviting.
More festival days
Festival weekend is Saturday and Sunday September 27-28 when we present the Studio and Gallery Tours, Businesses Become Galleries Tour, Emerging Artists exhibit, Outdoor Art Market and live music on the festival stage and in local venues. But this year we begin our Festival early – on Thursday evening, September 25. Honey Novick presents her literary arts lineup at Ellingtons where artists entertain with the spoken word. Starting at 7:30pm, you can drop in for a coffee and a snack and listen to a number of artists whose art is language – poets, lyricists, spoken word artists and a journalist. |
